Abstract

E-Trade is a new pattern of selling and a new trading tool where the customer has the ability to participate in all buying stages; the development of these stages will be electronically (by Internet) rather than physically conducted. This method enables the customer to access the product information and select the  items to buy; so buying will be processed automatically. The emergence of e-trade applications causes some difficulties in dealing with database systems, and this happens when all data are stored in a horizontal table. In this research, we suggest a method to facilitate the management of e-trade database. This method includes dealing with the horizontal table by using normalization in its five types. In so doing, the time of query from the normalized tables is reduced and database management is facilitated.
