Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effect of ground exercises outside the water on improving the speed of swimmers for the age group (13-15) years in the effectiveness of 25m freestyle swimming. The experimental method was used in the manner of two equal groups on a sample of (14) swimmers, and a performance test was used to measure the effect of floor exercises on the speed of swimmers.

The most prominent results were that the proposed ground exercises outside the water positively affected the speed of the swimmers by reducing the time taken to travel the test distance

According to the results of the research, it was recommended, in emphasizing the use of the proposed ground exercises outside the water because of its positive impact on the speed of swimmers for this age stage, and in expanding the scope of the research in the application of ground exercises outside the water to include different age groups and for both sexes in which kinematic variables are used that did not address her researcher.
