تقدير الذات لدى طلاب مدرسة التمريض في محافظة طرطوس
Abstract
Nursing is a fundamental section in our society; it faces some important problems which affect its self-esteem. The aim of this study was to determine self-esteem levels of systematic random sampling consist of 122 nursing students belong to Tartous Nursing School from three classes in the year 2018. Data collected from 11/2/2018 to 22/2/2018 using Rosenberg Scale for Self-Esteem (1979). Results showed that about half of the sample (50.77%) had high self-esteem levels, and (46.63%) had moderate self-esteem levels. Also; the results of this study showed that 61.4 % of the participants consider themselves to be useful persons. Study recommended the necessary of carrying out similar studies to assess nursing students’ self-esteem levels, and to explore its relation with different variables related to the whole society of nursing students, in addition to design special programs which improve the nursing view to themselves throughout continuous motivation.
يمثل التمريض قطاعاً حيوياً هاماً في مجتمعنا, لكنه يواجه بعض المشكلات الحيوية والهامة والتي تؤثر على مستوى تقديره لذاته. هدفت هذه الدراسة الوصفية إلى تحديد مستويات تقدير الذات لدى عينة عشوائية منتظمة مكونة من 122 طالب/ة من طلاب مدرسة التمريض في طرطوس في الصفوف الدراسية الثلاث لسنة 2018 م, وذلك في الفترة الواقعة مابين11/2/2018 ولغاية 22/2/2018. وقد تم جمع البيانات باستخدام مقياس روزنبرغ (1979). بينت النتائج أن 50,77% من العينة كان لديها مستويات مرتفعة لتقدير الذات, وأقل من ذلك بقليل (46.63%) لديهم مستويات متوسطة لتقدير الذات. وأن 61.4 % من المشاركين يشعرون بأنهم أشخاص نافعين. وقد أوصت الدراسة بإجراء دراسات مماثلة من أجل التقييم المستمر لمستويات تقدير الذات لطلاب التمريض, ودراسة علاقة مستوى تقدير الذات لديهم بالمتغيرات المختلفة لمجتمع طلاب مدرسة التمريض كاملاً, إضافة إلى تصميم برامج خاصة تعزز نظرة طلاب مدرسة التمريض لأنفسهم عن طريق التحفيز المستمر.
