دراسة سريرية وشعاعية مقارنة لتقييم فعالية 5MO في بتر اللب في الأرحاء المؤقتة عند الأطفال

Abstract

الهدف: مقارنة مدى نجاح مادة اسمنت 5MO مع مادة سلفات الحديدي في بتر اللب على الأرحاء المؤقتة بمتابعة سريرية وشعاعية لمدة 12أشهر

المواد والطرائق :تمت معالجة  40رحى مؤقتة أولى و ثانية سفلية لدى 11 طفلاً تراوحت أعمارهم بين 5)-8 ) سنوات بطريقة بتر اللب التقليدي، حيث تم تقسيم الأسنان بشكل عشوائي إلى : مجموعة سلفات الحديدي ومجموعة 5MO. بعد التخدير الموضعي و وضع الحاجز المطاطي للعزل، تم إجراء الطريقة التقليدية في بتر اللب ومن ثم تغطية اللب الجذري إما بالسلفات الحديدي أو بإسمنت ال5MO، ملأت الحجرة بالإسمنت الزجاجي الشاردي وأخيراً تم ترميم الأسنان بتيجان الستانليس ستيل في كلتا المجموعتين، تمت مراقبة الاسنان المعالجة بعد (3،6،12) أشهر.

النتائج :بينت الدراسة أنه عند مستوى الثقة 95% (p≤0.05) لا يوجد فروق إحصائية هامة في نسب النجاح بين المجموعتين بعد (3،6،12) أشهر.

الاستنتاج: يمكن أن يكون اسمنت ال 5MO بديلاً اقتصاديا وحيوياً جيداً في بتر اللب على الأرحاء المؤقتة.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of 5MO cement in success of pulpotomy in primary teeth comparing with Ferric Sulphate (FS).

Materials and methods: A total of eleven children aged (5-8 years) having 40-first and second primary mandibular molars were selected for traditional pulpotomy treatment, the teeth was divided randomly to be treated with either 5MO or Ferric Sulphate. After the administration of local anesthetic and isolation with rubber dam, a routine pulpotomy was performed, and then placed either 5MO or Ferric Sulphate techniques materials on the radical pulp. Teeth were finally restored by S.S crowns; Children were observed for (3-6-12) months.

Results: This study revealed at significance level: 95 %( p≤0.05) that the differences between the results of the success of 5MO cement and Ferric Sulphate were not statistically significant after (3-6-12) months.

Conclusion: 5MO cement pulpotomy is good alternative to pulpotomy.
