مقارنة بين مسار الدوامات البحرية في كل من جنوب غرب وجنوب شرق الليفانتاين
Abstract
تتشكل الدوامات البحرية على طول الشواطئ المصرية والشرق الأوسط نتيجة اضطراب الجريان
( AW Atlantic Water (. لدراسة سلوك هذه الدوامات، تمّ معالجة وتحليل العديد من صور الأقمار الصناعية
( Sea:SST Surface Temperature ) في تحت حوض الليفانتاين .كشفت هذه الدراسة عن وجود تقارب في سلوك الدوامات في كل من جنوب غرب وجنوب شرق الليفانتاين حيث تميل أغلب الدوامات المتشكلة الى الانفصال عن الجريان الشاطئي باتجاه عرض البحر كما لوحظ أن الدوامات المتشكلة في جنوب شرق الليفانتاين تتطور بشكل أسرع من تلك المتشكلة في الجنوب الغربي منه.
The eddies at the Egyptian and the Middle East coasts are generated by the instability of the surface circulation (AW: Atlantic Water). For describing these eddies, a lot of satellite images (SST: Sea Surface Temperature) have been treated and analyzed at the Levantine sub-basin. This study inferred that there is an approchement in the eddies´ trajectory in both south west and south east of the Levantine sub-basin, where most eddies tend to separate from AW towards off sea. While eddies in the south east of the Levantine develop faster than that in the south west.
