USING TRUST REGION TECHNIQUES FOR SOLVING NONLINEAR SYSTEM OF EQUATIONS

Abstract

The Trust region method is one of the most effective and common methods for solving nonlinear system of equations. In this paper, a numerical method was presented for solving sets of nonlinear equations. The proposed method is based on the Trust region strategy, adaptive radius, and conjugate gradient methods (CG) that are used when the Trust region algorithm is unsuccessful, a family of CG methods is used to prevent resolving the trust-region subproblem has a high computational cost. The proposed method contributes to activating the adaptive radius of the Trust region in an appropriate manner for convergence, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Trust region, and thus reducing the computational cost of the algorithm. Has been proven Convergence the proposed Trust region.and tested by solving four standard test problems found in previous studies and by comparing the results obtained with the results of other methods, showing the efficiency and numerical accuracy of the proposed method.
