Evaluation of Oral Manifestations of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Patients in University Tishreen Hospital

Abstract

Introduction: Many diseases and syndromes are associated with the oral manifestations as is the case with lymphoma. This study aims to investigate oral manifestations of lymphoma Hodgkin’s patients in Tishreen University Hospital.

Material and methods: This study sample consisted of 460 individuals (230 individuals diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and 230 healthy individuals as witnesses) between March 2018 and July 2020. Patients were selected based on clinical findings and study condition after the study objectives and work procedures were explained. Besides, the written approvals of patients who participated in the research were obtained opportunistic infections in oral cavity.

The Results: Opportunistic infections are considered from oral manifestations at lymphoma Hodgkin’s patients.

Conclusion: Opportunistic infection is an oral manifestation associated with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
