تقبل مرضى المعالجات التقويمية في سوريا للمشاركة الجراحية الهادفة إلى تسريعها (دراسة إحصائية استبيانية)
Abstract
الهدف : تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد نسبة مرضى التقويم في المجتمع السوري الذين يمكن أن يوافقوا على إجراء مشاركة جراحية بهدف اختصار مدة المعالجة التقويمية، في مقابل الذين يمكن أن يرفضوا مثل هذا الإجراء مع تحديد سبب الرفض وعلاقة المستوى العلمي للمرضى بقرارهم . المواد والطرق : أجريت الدراسة على عينة مكونة من 250 مريضاً (130 ذكر و120 أنثى ) تراوحت أعمارهم بين 18-30 سنة . النتائج : كانت أكبر نسبة بين الموافقات (61.9 %) ناتجة عن الرغبة باختصار زمن المعالجة، وبالمقابل كانت أكبر نسبة لعدم الموافقة (41.8 %) بسبب الخوف من العمل الجراحي ، وبمقارنة نسب الموافقة بين مجموعات الدراسة بعد تقسيمها حسب درجة التعليم ، كان هناك فروق جوهرية بين نسب الموافقة لأفراد هذه المجموعات (P<0.001) حيث إنه كلما ازداد المستوى التعليمي للمريض ازداد تقبله لمثل هذه المشاركات العلاجية .
This study aimed to determine the percentage of orthodontic patients in our society that may accept surgical intervention to accelerate orthodontic treatment and the patients who may refuse, also to recognize the cause of their acceptance or rejection and to determine the effect of the level of education on the patient's decision. The study was done on a sample of 250 orthodontic patients (130 male,120 female ) aged between (18-30) years. The largest percentage of approvals was (61.9%) because of the patients' need to shorten the treatment time; on the other hand, the largest percentage of refusals was (41.8%) because of the patients' fear of surgical intervention. By comparing the approvals percentages after dividing it according to education level, there was a statistical significance (p<0.001), that is the higher the education level, the higher the patient's acceptance will be .
