Abstract

مقدمة: تعتبر معرفة العوامل المختلفة المؤثرة على طرائق التدريس في الجامعة عاملاً أساسياً في تحسين وتطوير هذه الطرائق. من هنا هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى إجراء تقييم لعملية التدريس والتطبيق العملي لمادة طب الفم في كلية طب الأسنان، ودرجة فعالية استمارة طب الفم في ترجمة معرفة الطالب إلى تشخيص علمي صحيح للحالات المرضية التي تراجع عيادات الكلية. المواد والطرائق: اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على آراء أربعةٍ وخمسين من طلاب السنة الخامسة في كلية طب الأسنان في الجامعة السورية الخاصة. شمل الاستبيان المعتمد اثنا عشر سؤالاً تعكس العوامل المؤثرة في جودة استمارة طب الفم. تم دراسة وتحليل النتائج إحصائياً. النتائج: تُظهر نتائج الدراسة أن الاستمارة المستخدمة غير جيدة عموماً، وأن كيفية تقويم من يستخدمها يرتبط بشكل جوهري بمستوى النشاط الذي يقوم هو نفسه به. كما تبين النتائج أنه من أهم معايير جودة ونجاح الاستمارة المستخدمة في أخذ القصة السريرية للمريض هي درجة الصعوبة في ملء الاستمارة، ومدى قدرتها على مساعدة الطالب في الوصول إلى تشخيص جيد للحالة المرضية. Purpose: Knowing the different elements, which affect the teaching methods in the university, is considered as a basic element to improve these methods. Hence, this study aims to evaluate the teaching process and the clinical application of oral medicine material at dentistry faculty. In addition, this study examines the effectiveness of oral medicine sheet (patient file) in reflecting the student knowledge into correct scientific identification of the remedial cases at University. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted among 45 undergraduate students in the last year of the dental program at the dental faculty in The Syrian Private University. Results and Conclusion: The results show that the used oral medicine sheet is not good in general and that is evaluation by the person using it correlates significantly with his activity level. In addition, they show that what decides the sheet quality is the difficulty of filling in it and its ability to help student to reach the good diagnosis of remedial case.
