معلومات وممارسات التمريض حول التداول الآمن لاستخدام العلاج الكيميائي

Abstract

هناك انتشار واسع لاستخدام العلاج الكيميائي للمصابين بالأمراض السرطانية وهذا ما تسبب بزيادة المخاطر الصحية للممرضين العاملين في مجال تداول العلاج بهذه الأدوية لذلك يجب عليهم معرفة كيفية وقاية أنفسهم من تأثيرات هذه الأدوية.كان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تقييم معلومات وممارسات الممرضين حول كيفية التداول الأمن لاستخدام العلاج الكيميائي وقد جمعت المعلومات عن طريق استخدام استبيان يضم جزأين الأول حول المعلومات الديموغرافية للممرضين والثاني يتضمن معلوماتهم وممارستهم حول كيفية التداول الآمن مع العلاج الكيماوي والمعوقات حول استخدام وسائل الحماية الشخصية وقد أظهرت النتائج بان أكثر من ثلثي الممرضين لا يعرفون بان العلاج الكيميائي يدخل الجسم عن طريق الغذاء الملوث , أما بالنسبة لممارساتهم فكان أكثر من ثلاثة أرباعهم لا يغيرون الملابس الواقية بعد إعطاء الأدوية الكيميائية وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أيضا بان هناك ترافق سلبي بين المعلومات والممارسات وأيضا ترافق سلبي بين الممارسات والمعوقات. اغلب المشتركين في الدراسة كانت لديهم معلومات وممارسات متوسطة حول التداول الآمن مع العلاج الكيميائي لذلك كانت توصيات البحث إجراء برنامج تثقيفي حول التداول الآمن للعلاج الكيميائي لكافة الممرضين العاملين في مركز العلاج الكيميائي Widespread use of chemotherapy in the treatment of cancer has lead to higher health hazards among nurses who handle and administer such drugs, so they should know how to protect themselves from effects of chemotherapy. Objective of study was to assess knowledge and practices of nurses for safe handling chemotherapy in latakia City. the data was collected by using questionnaire including demographic information and safe handling chemotherapy knowledge and practices and barriers of personal protective equipment . Results of this study showed there more than two to third of nurses had no knowledge that chemotherapy enter the body through contaminated foods, about practices of them more than three quarter didn't change of personnel protective barriers after contact with chemotherapy. also Results showed there a significant negative association between knowledge and practices. Moreover, It is showed there a significant negative association between practices and barriers .Most of the study sample had moderate level of knowledge and practices of safe handling chemotherapy. So it is necessary that Chemotherapy Safety health education program should be instituted for all oncology nurses who are working in oncology unit.
