Abdominal wall plication,evaluation and comparison between oblique vs vertical method in abdominoplasty.
Abstract
This study included 22 patients with excess of the abdominal skin, those patients were admitted and treated surgically with abdominoplasty procedure in the plastic and reconstructive surgery department of Al-Asad university Hospital and Tishreen University Hospital in Lattakia in the period between Aug 2015- March 20
Patients were stratified in this study upon: Age, sex, BMI and the surgical technique used to plicate the anterior rectus abdominis sheath. The comparison between the two surgical technique was executed through documenting the median of the change of the anterior abdominal contour, waistline contour and the hip_waist transition and the mean global score before and after the surgery .
This study aims to evaluate the oblique plication of the anterior rectus abdominis sheath and comparing it to the vertical plication when compared to other similar studies.
تقويم ثني غمد عضلات جدار البطن الأمامي بالطريقة المائلة
في عمليات رأب البطن مقارنة بالطريقة العمودية (Pitanguy)
شملت هذه الدراسة 22 مريضا لديهم ترهل وزيادة ورخاوة في جلد البطن، قبلوا وعولجوا جراحياً بإجراء رأب البطن في شعبة الجراحة التجميلية والترميمية في مشفى الأسد الجامعي ومشفى تشرين الجامعي في اللاذقية في الفترة الممتدة بين شهر آب 2105 وشهر آذار 2017. تم تصنيف المرضى في هذه الدراسة حسب:العمر، الجنس، الBMI، الطريقة الجراحية المستخدمة في ثني الغمد العضلي، تمت المقارنة بين الطريقتين عن طريق أخذ متوسط التغير في محيط البطن والخصر والانتقال من الخصر إلى الورك ومتوسط التغير الإجمالي قبل وبعد العمل الجراحي والمقارنة بينهما، وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقويم الطريقة المائلة في ثني الغمد العضلي لجدار البطن الأمامي ومقارنتها بالطريقة العمودية مقارنة مع دراسات أخرى مشابهة.
