خصائص داء كاوازاكي عند الأطفال بأعمار ستة أشهر وأقل (≤ 6 أشهر)
Abstract
شملت الدراسة (60) حالة (طفل) مصابين بداء كاوازاكي وذلك خلال الفترة الزمنية ما بين
2002 و 2007م.
11 حالة (18%) منهم بأعمار ≤ 6 أشهر(2-6 شهر)
49 حالة (82%) بأعمار > 6 أشهر (7 أشهر _13 سنة). وقد أظهرت من الدراسة أن هناك اختلافاً في بعض الخصائص السريرية والمخبرية بين هاتين المجموعتين, كما تبين أن نسبة مصادفة الشكل غير النمطي لداء كاوازاكي كانت أعلى في مجموعة الأعمار الصغيرة (2-6 شهر).
كما تبين أن نسبة الإصابة القلبية والشرايين الإكليلية وشدتها كانت أعلى والإنذار كان أسوأ لدى مجموعة الأعمار الصغيرة أيضاً.
60 Children with Kawasaki Disease were included in this study, (from 2002 to 2007).
11 patients (18%) of them were ≤6 months of age (2-6 months).
49 patients (82%) of them were >6 months of age (7 months-13 year).
Some clinical and laboratory manifestations were different between two groups.
The proportion of atypical Kawasaki Disease was higher in infants ≤6 months of age.
The proportion and severity of cardiac and coronary artery involvement was higher in patients ≤ 6 months of age the outcome also was worse in this age group.
