فعالية الـ 3Mix-MP في التغطية اللبية المباشرة في الأرحاء المؤقتة بالمقارنة مع ماءات الكالسيوم (دراسة سريرية)
Abstract
Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of (3Mix-MP) in direct pulp capping in primary teeth compared to calcium hydroxide.
Materials and Methods: The study sample consisted of 44 primary molars (maxillary\mandibular) in 17 children aged between (5-11) years. The teeth were allocated into two groups: group A 3Mix-MP (n = 22) and group B, calcium hydroxide (CH) (n = 22). all teeth were restored with composite fillings. Clinical follow-ups were performed at intervals of 3 months for one year, and radiographical follow-ups were done after (6-12) months.
Results: The overall success rate was 65.9% regardless of the used material, with a success rate of 77.3% and 54.5% in the calcium hydroxide group and 3Mix-MP group respectively. The observed difference was not statistically significant.
Conclusion: Direct pulp capping in primary teeth achieved clinically acceptable results especially when calcium hydroxide was used, while 3Mix-MP needs further investigation.
الهدف: تقييم فعالية مزيج الصادات الثلاثي (3Mix-MP) في التغطية اللبية المباشرة في الأسنان المؤقتة مقارنةً بماءات الكالسيوم.
المواد والطرائق: تألفت عينة الدراسة من 44 رحى مؤقتة في كلا الفكين لدى 17 طفل تراوحت أعمارهم بين )5-11( عاماً. وزعت الأسنان إلى مجموعتين: المجموعة A مزيج الصادات (3Mix-MP) (n=22)، والمجموعة B ماءات الكالسيوم (CH) (n=22). رممت الأسنان بحشوات الكومبوزيت. أجريت المتابعات السريرية بفواصل 3 أشهر لمدة سنة، أما المتابعة الشعاعية فقد تمت بعد (6-12) شهراً.
النتائج: كان معدل النجاح الكلي 65.9% بغض النظر عن المادة المستخدمة، إذ بلغت نسبة النجاح 77.3%
و 54.5% في مجموعة ماءات الكالسيوم ومزيج الصادات بالترتيب. لم يكن الفرق بين المجموعتين مهم إحصائياً.
الاستنتاج: حققت التغطية اللبية المباشرة في الأسنان المؤقتة نتائج مقبولة سريرياً وخاصة عند استخدام ماءات الكالسيوم، في حين يحتاج مزيج الصادات 3Mix-MP إلى المزيد من الدراسة.
