تقييم جودة الأداء التمريضي لحديثي الولادة في الحاضنة
Abstract
تعدّ فترة حديث الولادة من الفترات الحرجة في حياة حديثي الولادة ، لذلك هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم جودة أداء الكادر التمريضي في أثناء تقديم العناية التمريضية لحديثي الولادة الموضوعين ضمن الحاضنة ، حيث تأتي أهمية التركيز على الجودة في الإجراءات التمريضية في وحدة العناية المركزة NICU) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ) لحديثي الولادة من أنه يتم فيها التعامل مع حالات مرضية حرجة تحتاج إلى مراقبة وعناية تمريضية مركزة ، حيث تعدّ الخدمات التمريضية المقدمة فيها الحد الفاصل بين الحياة و الموت لهؤلاء المرضى في العديد من الحالات ، وشملت الدراسة 30 ممرضة من اللواتي يقدمن الرعاية التمريضية لحديثي الولادة الموضوعين في قسم الحواضن في ثلاث مشافي ، تم تطوير استمارة تتألف من جزأين : الجزء الأول (I) أسئلة متعلقة بالمعلومات الديموغرافية لعينة البحث والجزء الثاني (II) استمارة ملاحظة checklist استناداً إلى معايير عالمية مثبتة خاصة ببعض الإجراءات التمريضية المقدمة لحديثي الولادة الموضوعين ضمن الحاضنة وهذه الإجراءات التي تم أخذها هي : غسيل اليدين - تنظيف الحاضنة - تركيب القثطرة الوريدية - أخذ العلامات الحيوية - ضبط العدوى - المعالجة بالأوكسجين - المعالجة الضوئية .
وجد أن حوالي ثلثي أفراد العينة تقريباً 67% لديهم مستوى أداء ضعيف في جميع الإجراءات التمريضية فيما الثلث الباقي33 % لديه مستوى متوسط من الأداء التمريضي . كما أظهرت الدراسة الحالية أنه لا يوجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية هامة بين مستوى الأداء التمريضي في قسم الحواضن و كلٍّ من ( المؤهل العلمي و سنوات الخبرة التمريضية في قسم الحواضن ) , بينما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية هامة بين مستوى الأداء التمريضي في قسم الحواضن و كلٍّ من ( العمر و سنوات الخبرة التمريضية العامة ) لإجمالي الإجراءات التمريضية ، لذلك اقترح ضرورة وجود إشراف مستمر على أداء الممرضات في قسم الحواضن في أثناء تقديمهن للعناية التمريضية مع ضرورة القيام بدورات تدريبية مستمرة .
The period of a newborn is a critical one. This study aims to assess the quality of the performance of the nursing staff in the provision of nursing care for a newborn in the incubator. This is an important and critical procedure for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU. The study included 30 nurses from the nursing staff in the Department of incubators at three hospitals. A questionnaire has been developed consisting of two parts: The first part (I) has questions related to the demographic information of research sample. The second part (II): A checklist was developed by the researcher based on global standards related to some private nursing procedures provided for newborns within the incubator. These measures are: -Washing hands -Clean the incubator -Venous catheter - Taking vital signs ( temperature - Breathe - Pulse ) -Infection control within the incubators -Oxygen therapy – Phototherapy.
Findings show a third of the sample had a weak performance in all nursing procedures, while the remaining third (33%) had an average level of performance.
The present study showed that there is no important significant relationship between the level of performance in the nursing department incubators and both (qualification and years of experience in the nursing department incubators).
The study also revealed the presence of an important significant relationship between the level of performance in the nursing department incubators and both (age and years of experience of nursing staff) for the total nursing procedures.
