Abstract

This research aims to shed light on the impact of the media on the process of social development of the individual, and the tools of sociological analysis have been applied to research and understand this relationship, since the media plays a vital and prominent role in the lives of individuals and affects the formation of their opinions, views, and attitudes through communication sites.  Multiple social.  It aims to explain how the media performs its basic functions in addition to disseminating ideas and values ​​prepared in advance for the public to receive and for it to become a culture and lifestyle that is socially acceptable to others.  It also attempts to clarify the principles on which the theories of media influence are based and how they are applied by the media, thus creating different effects whose impact depends on the nature of the recipient, whether he is an individual or a group.
