Alans and Vandals in North Africa
Abstract
The Alans and Vandals were among the most prominent peoples that were displaced in the Roman Empire during the fourth and fifth centuries AD. These people tried to find a home the land of the empire, so she entered into conflicts with prompted the Allans and Vandals to cross the sea to the countries of north Africa, and they managed to find a foot gold in these rich countries, but the conflicts and sectarian differences with Rome and Byzantium, in addition to the mismanagement of the emerging state, and its loss of the support of the local population, increased the problems of this state, in addition to the rise of the power of the Byzantine state as the legitimate heir of the ephemeral Roman Empire, and did not overlook the state of the Alans and Vandals established After the fall of the Roman Empire in 476 AD, he accelerated its end with a military campaign in 533 AD
