Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the level of marital adjustment among teachers working in the educational sector in the countryside of Aleppo, and to reveal the differences in adjustment according to some variables(place of residence, age difference at marriage, and the occupational status of husband).in the countryside of Aleppo, I followed the descriptive analytical approach in the research and reached the following results: There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members and the hypothetical average of the scale, that is the level of agreement among the sample members on the total score of scale and on two dimension (concordance intellectual, emotional adjustment) is above average, while the level of sexual adjustment was below average. on the other hand, no statistically significant differences were found marital adjustment among female teachers according to the variables (age difference at marriage, place of residence and the occupational status of husband).                                                     .
