Attitudes of inclusive classroom teachers towards educational integration in basic education schools

Abstract

The current research sought to identify the attitudes of teachers of inclusive classes towards educational integration in inclusive schools in the city of Tartous. The research also aimed to identify the differences between these teachers according to the variables of the number of years of experience and teaching specialization. To reach the research objectives, the researcher applied a measure of the attitudes of teachers of inclusive classes towards educational integration. This measure was applied to (111) male and female teachers adopting the descriptive method. The results of the research showed a positive trend towards educational integration among teachers of inclusive classes in the city of Tartous. It showed that teachers' attitudes do not differ according to the number of years of their teaching experience, and that resource room teachers' attitudes were more positive compared to other teachers.
