Time and its manifestations in the themes of Abdul Karim Al-Qaisi’s poetry

Abstract

Time represents an important element of narrative structure, but its presence is not limited to prose literature. Poetry has included this element, as an active element in the poetic themes included in the literary work. Hence this research was entitled (Time and its manifestations in the topics of Abdul Karim Al-Qaisi’s poetry); Since the poet was defeated and weak in his ordeal that he went through due to the circumstances of time,While the praise came to represent the poet’s vision throughout the past, present, and future, The present time was associated with ghazal, which was the poet’s solace and happiness.The poet also relied on time to highlight the purpose of asceticism, which is considered a means of quick salvation from the sins a person commits.
