Abstract

This study aimed to identify the relationship between applying the dimensions of authentic leadership among public secondary school principals in Jerash Governorate and improving the job performance of teachers from their point of view. To achieve the study's goals and answer its questions, the descriptive survey approach was used through the development of a questionnaire. The study sample consisted of (315) teachers chosen by the simple random method. The questionnaire was used as a study tool consisting of (32) items distributed to five areas: (self-awareness Transparency of relationships, internal moral perspective, Balanced treatment, and performance( after its validity and reliability have been confirmed. The results of the question showed that the degree of practicing authentic leadership of secondary school leadership from the point of view of teachers in Jerash Governorate was high, the study showed a statistically positive relationship between the dimensions of authentic leadership relationship between the dimensions of authentic leadership Improving job performance. The study recommended the importance of developing the authentic leadership of secondary school principals in all areas by holding specialized training courses in school leadership.
