Application Problems Developed Curricula in Syria and ways to developing them from the point of view of Teacher's at the first Colloquium (Field Study of Lattakia City)
Abstract
This research aimed to knowing Application Problems Developed Curricula in Syria and ways to developing them from the point of view of Teacher's at the first Colloquium, The researcher followed the descriptive method, The research tool consisted of a questionnaire in which the researcher examined the views of the teachers of Lattakia city about Application Problems some developed curricula and ways to developing them, The sample included (140) teachers ,( 10 %) Of the original community who teach, were chosen intentionally, and the research tool was presented to a group of Specialists and verified its validity and consistency, and then applied in the academic year 2017-2018.
The research showed the following results and the most important:
1-There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance(0.05) between the averages of the degrees (the teachers) in their opinions about the developed curricula in Syria according to the variables (gender and academic qualifications);While there were differences of statistical significance according to the variable number of years of experience in favor of long experience(from 15 years and older), and this may be due to their awareness of the problems of applying it at schools, and the problems which suffers from it, and the possible solutions for developing it ,as well as thier use old methods too.
2-The opinions of teachers were similar about the problems which they face in actual curricula such as large number of students inside the class, lack of educational tools, lack of the specialized time for the huge curriculum, and they insist the need of developing for reasons such as: Absence some information are lacking and to avoid mistakes and criticisms suffered.
In the light of the results The research suggested:
1-Integrate the efforts of specialists in the Faculty of Education with the efforts of experienced teacher's to re-examine the shortcomings of some developed curricula and avoid the mistakes in them.
2-Providing advanced educational tools- Reduce the number of students-Increase the period of the year school.
3-Review of the results and the suggestions of researches and scientific messages in universities in order to use it.
