To achieve this, a list of the twenty-first century skills included in the content of the social studies curriculum for the sixth grade was prepared based on the classifications of researchers in the field of twenty-first century skills. As the final list consisted of three skills and fifty-four indicators, the researcher used the descriptive approach (content analysis method), and the tool consisted of a content analysis card, which was designed based on the twenty-first century skills list to analyze the content of the social studies curriculum for the sixth grade.

The results showed that the content of the social studies curriculum for the sixth grade included (3) twenty-first century skills out of (3) skills included in the list repeatedly (710) times. However, the inclusion of twenty-first century skills was at a low rate of (33.33%). Learning and innovation skills were the most frequent, and information technology and media skills were the least frequent. The results also showed a lack of progression and disparity in the rates of inclusion of some skills, as emphasis was placed on some more than others and were included in high percentages, compared to others, where there was no balance in the rates of their inclusion. Based on the above, the researcher proposed developing a specific strategy for the mechanism of including twenty-first century skills in the content of the social studies curriculum from one grade to another, taking into account the principle of gradualness in the rates of inclusion of these skills.
2024-12-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18105Subjective Vitality and Its Relationship with Self Presentation Strategies Among Damascus University Students with Special Needs A Field Study2024-08-24T08:18:17+00:00Reem Aljehnireem.aljouhni@tishreen.edu.sy
The current research to acknowledge the biological self-level and self-representation strategies in a sample from Damascus University from the colleges that have special needs students and the colleges chosen were (Sharia, Pedagogy, literature) and defining the connection between self-vitality and self-representation strategies in the sample of Damascus University students. The elements of dystopian fiction detected in the novel include environmental ruin, technological predomination, inequality, enslavement, violence, despotism, and the propaganda used to mislead the citizens of society. From the perspective of post -colonialism, the Anthropocene, and Marxism, this study follows a descriptive qualitative approach. These theories help to uncover various dimensions of the text, with Marxism shedding light on class conflict and exploitation, Post-colonialism exposing the oppression and discrimination against the “Others,” and the Anthropocene theory highlighting the impact of human activities on the environment. The purpose of the study is to satirize the status que including the environmental, political, and social aspects. The study argues that The Wall exceeds being a pessimistic narrative; it is a channel for contemplation, consideration, satire, and transformation. Overall, the study thoroughly addresses these dimensions by analyzing the novel and how it portrays a dystopian world that reflects contemporary fears related to oppression, despotism, and environmental as well as technological degradation. The particular significance of this study lies in being a useful vehicle to learn about global challenges. In terms of the findings, the study warns about how current challenges could cause havoc if left uncurbed. Serving as both a mirroring and a thrust for transformation, the study holds a far-reaching implication in the sphere of change.
2024-12-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18702The connotations of the Black color in Arar's hair in his diwanah ashiyat Wadi Al-yabas2024-10-25T20:27:22+00:00Zaheer Mohammed Al-Zawahradr.thaher@hu.edu.jo Amina Harahshaamena_1976@yahoo.comSulaiman Salem Al-Farains.ferain@hu.edu.jo

The aim of this Research was to Study the Connotations of the Black color in the hair of Arar in his Diwan "ashiyat Wadi Al-yabas" as a model and field of this Study, as the Black color and its synonyms are mentioned a lot in his Diwan, and the Research has Revealed the Following headings: the connotations of the Black color in the hair of Arar, color Synonyms of the Black color, the Relationship Between the Black color and the eyes. The Blackcolorhas Giventhe Poetictexta HighArtisticEnergy, fromthe usualSimpleConnotationstoMultiple and Valuable ColorConnotations, Revealingthe Psychological, Intellectual and Cultural Structuresofthe Poet, and Enriched the text Semantically and Artistically in the Contexts in which he was Employed.

Keywords: Black color, Arar Mustafa Wahbi Al-Tal, ashiyat wad Al-yabas.
2024-12-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18679The Internet addiction and its relationship to academic achievement among students at the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait2024-10-24T11:40:31+00:00Mohammad AlkandariMt.alkandari@paaet.edu.kwTalal AlMesad ti.almesad@paaet.edu.kwHadeel Al-Shattilalshatti@paaet.edu.kw
This study aimed to reveal the level of Internet addiction and its relation to the educational achievement of the students of the Basic Education College of Kuwait, and to achieve its purpose researchers used the analytical descriptive curriculum; The study tool was developed using Young's measured image of the Arab environment. Irony allows the reader of prose text to enter his literary world and thus performs several functions. It is an effective threshold, and one of the keys to decoding the literary text.

The research concluded that the paradox reflected the contrast between the state of Damascus before and after the fire, and this was represented by the contrast between the direct meaning of the spoken word and the indirect meaning. Ibn al-Wardi adopted the method of semantic accumulation of sub-contrasts within the maqamat to reach the pinnacle of paradox. As the writer deliberately and plans it through the contrast between the apparent and the hidden, it appears as a contradiction between what is said, what is written, and what is intended.

In light the above, the research is divided into two parts; one is theoretical and aims to clarify the phenomenon of paradox in terms of language and terminology among Arabs and Westeres, with a quick overview of its most prominent types .The second is applied and studies the manifestations of paradox in one of Ibn al-Wardimaqama, represented by the paradox of title, the narrayors name, and the rhythm, inaddition to the paradox of pronunciation and meaning.
2024-12-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18496The rhetorical appeal: Its grammatical provisions and its role in performing the meaning The seventh verse from Surat Al-Imran example2024-09-29T19:22:38+00:00Ahmad Ibrahim Saleh Ahmadahmadibrahimsaleh@jordan.eduFadhl Khalil Al-Sheikhjournal@tishreen.edu.sy
This research studies the rhetorical appeal in selected evidences from the Holy Qur’an - from Surat Al-Imran - identifies their positions and studies them descriptively and analytically. The research will trace the movement of the characters and their position in the narrative, as it is one of the basic pillars in the structure of the novel work. Through it, Al-Zawi presents his perceptions, thoughts, and feelings, employing the suggestive and semantic contents that serve his work. He studied Critics issues related to character building in the fictional text, and they defined the concept of character as a semantic unit within the limits of its being a separate connotation. It is a sign of humanity and a living human being from reality, and a moral concept that is viewed as a semiotic concept, and it has a function in constructing the narrative work. This semantic function is given by life. So to speak, the character is embodied through his thoughts and actions that he performs, or the characteristics that characterize him in the network of his relationships with the rest of the characters within the framework of time and place. The wanderer assigns to him a set of interconnected functions through a set of words. The importance of the research comes from the fact that it is a study of the semiotics of fictional characters. In contrast, the relationship of the self to the other from an unethical perspective emerged in modern philosophy, taking on an exclusionary dimension represented in a set of authoritarian and exclusionary measures that the self-practiced against the other.

The relationship between the self and the other, as defined by Foucault, is situated within the context of self-formation and construction. This formation can occur either in an ethical manner or in a non-ethical manner, as previously mentioned. This means that the relationship between the self and the other is determined and its contours are drawn according to these two processes of self-formation and construction. In this sense, we can discuss the relationship between the self and the other according to Foucault based on these two paths.

The importance of this research lies in its attempt to provide a study that sheds light on the discourse presented by Michel Foucault regarding the relationship between the self and the other, both ethically and non-ethically, with the aim of unveiling the new insights he offered in comparison to those who have analyzed and investigated this topic.
2024-12-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18042The Administrative Empowerment Among School Principals and Its Relationship to School Crisis Management from the Point of View of Teachers A field study in the second cycle schools of basic education in Latakia city2024-08-10T08:09:02+00:00Khaled Ahmadkhalid.ahmad@tishreen.edu.syWafeka Alijournal@tishreen.edu.syNoura Mahmoudjournal@tishreen.edu.sy
The research aimed to identify the degree of administrative empowerment and the degree of school crisis management among principals of schools in the second cycle of basic education from the point of view of teachers, as well as identifying the relationship between administrative empowerment and school crisis management among principals of schools in the second cycle of basic education from the point of view of teachers in Latakia city. Thus, the man appears realistically and paper-wise as a normative value that summons paternal thought from absence to presence. Therefore, the author worked on exposing paternal thought and transforming it from a normative hierarchy and centrism to a normative of accountability and revelation that render paternal thought in a state of helplessness, transitioning it from action to reaction, and resulting in the reproduction of binary concepts in both social and cultural thought. The questions the research faces and seeks to answer are: How did the author work on exposing the influence of paternal culture on individuals? Is social rejection of women limited to paternal thought, or are there other factors that contribute to the process of rejection and exclusion on both the manifest and latent levels? Did the author's work in tracing paternal thought extend beyond exposure to refutation and rebellion against it

2024-12-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18356La victimisation : une technique de désinformation dans les journaux français en ligne2024-09-12T06:23:13+00:00Sandy Atiehsandy.atieh@tishreen.edu.sy
This article aims to analyze a technique used by the French press to manipulate events
concerning the war in Syria by relying on three French electronic dailies. In fact, the
French media have always used disinformation to weaken an adversary and
manipulate opinions to their advantage. Our analysis focuses on a very important
discursive process adopted by the French press, which is "victimization" through
which the journalist tries to touch the affect of the recipient when he shows (innocent)
victims presented in large numbers for example. In our research, we adopt a
theoretical conception developed by the French linguist Patrick Charaudeau from the
point of view of discourse analysis. Our analysis focuses in particular on press articles
relating to the demonstrations that took place at the beginning of the war (between
2011 and 2012). It also covers the alleged chemical attacks in Alghouta in 2013, as
well as the alleged chemical attacks in Khan Sheikhoun in 2017.

2024-12-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024
