The place is considered one of the basic components of the novel, so in this research I tried to study the place in my novel "Al-Masla, Jarmati", and I presented the dualities of place, and I also pointed out the connotations of place, and I ended this research with a conclusion and a list of sources and references, and I summarized in the conclusion the conclusions included in the research.
Razan Blidi Yacoub Al-Bitar Zekwan Al-Abdou Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 701 719 The Positive Effects of European Privileges with the Ottoman Empire in the Sixteenth Century https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17966
The Ottoman Empire reached its peak of political and military power in the sixteenth century, where it controlled territories across Asia, Africa, and Europe, encompassing different races, ethnicities, and religions. With these expansions, the Ottoman Empire sought to achieve international dominance but faced opposition from European powers. As a result, the empire sought alternatives to achieve its expansionist goals without resorting to military force, turning to a policy of concluding treaties and agreements with those countries.

At the same time, European powers hastened to win the favor of the Ottoman Empire to counter looming threats, leading to a series of treaties and agreements that had wide-ranging impacts in various fields (political, economic, intellectual, and religious). These treaties were collectively referred to as "foreign privileges with the Ottoman Empire," and during the initial stages of these agreements, the Ottoman Empire was the stronger party, successfully managing these privileges to serve its overarching interests fundamentally.
Mariam Ghurra Ibrahim Alaa Aldin Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 721 735 Artistic composition of proverbs in Al-Bayan, Al-Tabin, and Al-Bakhla by Al-Jahiz https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18039
Proverbs constitute a special type of prose expression, especially in the works of the Arabs, who transformed these proverbs from life lessons into an expressive art in its own right. This was clearly demonstrated by Al-Jahiz in his two books, Al-Bakhla and Al-Bayan and Al-Tabyin. Each of the previous proverbs indicates a specific semantic concept that has a guiding role in the recipient’s behavior, urging him to benefit from the experiences of others.

The proverb had clear foundations in my book Al-Jahiz, and it had psychological, social, and philosophical connotations that reflected a language capable of containing diverse human experiences.

Al-Jahiz's construction of the proverb was not an arbitrary construction, but rather it was a functional construction in which he relied on the structural diversity evident in his artistic images, which were divided into metaphors, similes, and metonymies, and each of these images had a special structural structure. After the introduction, which introduced proverbs, the research was divided into three main headings: The first: was concerned with metaphor, and included examples of proverbs in which metaphor appeared in both its verbal and verbal types, and the second: was concerned with simile and included a number of examples in which the proverb was based on simile of its various types. The third: was concerned with the exquisite construction of proverbs, which included a number of sub-headings, namely: alliteration, counterpoint, and assonance. The models in the research titles were studied in an analytical study that highlighted the aesthetics of the studied phenomenon, then there was a conclusion that included the results of the research.
Lamis Shakra Haifa Diop Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 737 760 Multiple intelligences among outstanding students and their relationship to self-efficacy A field study on basic education certificate students in the city of Lattakia https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17120
The aim of the current research is to identify the profile of multiple intelligences of ouststanding ninth grade students in Lattakia city. It also aimed to identify the level of self-efficacy of students, and to determine which types of multiple intelligences are most closely linked to the self-efficacy.

To achieve the research objectives, the researcher adopted the Multiple Intelligences Scale (Al-Akkari, 2010) and the Self-Efficacy Scale (Abdullah and Akkad, 2008). The research sample consisted of (58) students who were chosen intentional according to the academic outcomes in the previous academic stage.

The research results showed that: Linguistic Intelligence dominates the profile of multiple intelligences for high-achieving students, as it is one of their highest intelligences, followed by Logical-mathematical intelligence, then social intelligence, and musical intelligence was one of their lowest. As for self-efficacy, it had a high level, and it was positively associated with all of multiples intelligences.

ansab sharouf Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 11 26 The Starling Letters, a semiotic study https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17486
Starlings constitute a beautiful, comic type of literature, but it is a purposeful type that was known in Andalusian prose in the sixth century AH. The basis of this art is a group of messages revolving around the starling and the various suggestions that its characteristics evoke. It was a starting point for building creative texts carrying fertile connotations. These connotations expanded in their flexible language to modern semiotic readings that were able to identify the signs, icons, and various relationships they contained, which had their own signs.

Studying starlings from a semiotic perspective reveals the hidden content behind the sarcastic tone and humorous expressions. The implication behind this sarcastic and humorous narrative style crystallizes; Because starlings reveal mental activity that was born out of a cultural context that has a specific point of view, and is based on implicit patterns that semiotic tools explore accurately and aesthetically.

The field of starlings is wide; As it was a field of semiotic space that was linked to the contemporary structural linguistic model, according to a Peircean vision, we were faced with the creativity of language and its superiority in openness to everything new.
Wafa'a Jouma'a Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 27 39 Language skills and social competence among children with mild autism spectrum disorder in pre-school in light of some variables https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17350
The current study aimed to examine the level of language skills and social competence among children with mild autism spectrum disorder in the pre-school stage. The study aimed to examine the level of language skills and social competence by taking into account the variables of the child’s gender and the educational level of the guardian. The study sample consisted of ( 48) of pre-school children with mild autism spectrum disorder of different genders, ages 3-6 years. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed two scales of language skills and social competence, which parents of children answer. The validity and reliability implications of the two study scales were confirmed. The results of the study showed that the level of both language skills and social competence among children with autism spectrum disorder was moderate. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of language skills due to the variable of the child’s sex, and they were in favor of females. There were no statistically significant differences in language skills due to For the educational level of the guardian. The results of the study also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of social competence attributable to the educational level of the guardian, which was in favor of bachelor’s and postgraduate studies, and that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of social competence attributable to the gender level variable.
Ibrahim Bani Khalid Safa ِAl-Ali Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 41 62 Training needs for special education teachers in special education centers and inclusive schools A field study in the city of Latakia https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17694
The current research sought to know the training needs of special education teachers in the city of Latakia, and to identify the difference in these training needs according to the variables: workplace, type of disability, number of years of experience, and academic specialization. The present paper considers a number of issues related to stress in Lattakian Syrian Arabic. Focus is made on attractors of stress. Using the Metrical Stress Theory, data are analysed. Lattakian is shown to variably assign stress to the penultimate. This is due to a difference between non-final CVC syllables and CVG/CVV syllables. Weight in various guises seems to be one main attractor of stress.

buthaina shaheen Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 85 95 Social adaptation- influencing factors- methods of treatment (A study in the context of the Syrian educational reality) https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17592
This study examines the problems of social adaptation that children face in the school environment. The transition to a new school environment brings many challenges for children, such as establishing social connections, managing relationships with peers, adapting to unfamiliar social dynamics. Social counseling approaches recognize the importance of social and family factors in the child's adaptation process and provide specific support for the development of the child's social skills, emotional intelligence, communication skills and the ability to understand social situations. This research focuses on the main theoretical elements of the social counseling approach, including creating a safe and supportive environment through communication with families, promoting self-awareness and empathy, and developing effective communication and conflict resolution skills. The research also highlights the interaction of the social counseling approach with the child's personal characteristics, the characteristics of the family environment and life history, and indicates that each child is unique and factors such as introversion, extraversion, self-esteem and social skills can be taken into account to address specific challenges and build on each child's strengths. Emphasizing the need for social and psychological counselors who can adapt interventions to suit each child in general, this research highlights the fundamental role of the social counseling approach in addressing the problem of social adaptation of children in schools. By focusing on the development of social skills, emotional competence and inclusion, a positive and collaborative school environment can be created that is conducive to children's overall growth and success.
Ali Al-Bayrak Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 97 127 Imaginary female journeys The woman and the place in selected tales from the book "One Thousand and One Nights" https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17587
The research is based on the study of the problematic relationship between women and the place as revealed in some tales and imaginary female journeys selected from "One Thousand and One Nights". It addressed the measures for halting customs clearance of goods suspected of infringing trademarks, whether through counterfeiting, imitation, or fraud. The study examined its role in imposing customs control over import and export operations and assessed its effectiveness in preventing the clearance of goods that have been detained, while tracking the fate of goods held at customs centers.

The study concluded that the legal rules governing trademark protection in Jordanian Customs Law have not reached an optimal level of protection. They do not result in the confiscation and destruction of counterfeit and forged goods, nor do they ensure the prosecution of those involved in their import and export. This has led to deficiencies and inadequacies in the regulations, rendering them unable to provide complete legal protection. Consequently, there is a need to reconsider the legal texts regulating trademark protection within customs legislation. The study reached several conclusions and recommendations, urging the Jordanian legislator to consider them.
Enad Atieh Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 237 253 The structure of artistic formation in the poetry of Hamid bin Thawr Al-Hilali https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17860
Artistic formation is built on shifts, images, and linguistic templates that contribute to forming the architectural form of the text, It is a form that calls for many connotations that increase the effectiveness of the poetic language, especially when that poetic language is loaded with values derived from the poet’s environment and time, and this is what we see in the Islamic poet Hamid bin Thawr Al-Hilali, who organized his poems relying on many syllables, In line with the emotional state that activated the emotional system, and the reading response was influenced by what the poetic language contained in those rhythmic, graphic, and linguistic systems.

Hamid bin Thawr Al-Hilali is a poet with a wide culture and many knowledge, which contributed to building his poems in an intellectually mature and rhythmically harmonious structure, according to different levels of reception, each of which builds an effective impact in the cycles of reception.
Howaida Najjari Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 255 274 The classroom problems of teachers of the first cycle of basic education in treating in the city of Latakia from their point of view. https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17723
Summary of the research in Arabic: The research aimed to identify the role of teachers of the first cycle of basic education in treating classroom problems in the city of Latakia from their point of view. The textual manifestations of masculine centrism vary within the framework of the larger cultural intertextuality that envelops the texts, and its textual presence oscillates between existential, authoritative, and emotional centralities, guiding the masculine centrism towards the semantic and textual significations upon which the textual construction stands.

The research attempts – based on the aforementioned approach – to approach Abbasid feminine poetic discourse from a critical and cultural perspective, aiming to shed light on the process of textual manifestations of male centrism in that discourse, and the mechanisms through which motifs of male dominance flow towards the structure of textual compositions, which serve as an incubator for a theme representing the central feminine self of male centrism in its poetic text, framing its unique artistic and emotional poetic experience, directing semantic pathways and textual contexts – towards the crystallization of textual male centrism parallel to its non-textual counterpart.

arwa nasra Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 369 387 The proxy in verbs https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17987
This research deals with the role of the context in the rotation between the actual forms of past, present and future, time is often divided into past, present and future formulas, the research examines the contexts that leads the original time from its position to another time that does not indicate it in the first place that shows that there is a difference between the temporal time and the grammatical, the research shows that the formula of the present verb is different from that of the past because of the existence of a presumption function and repent formula of the past about the present and future, which does not indicate by the origin of the past but the present time and future, so the context determines the grammar time.
Maaz Muhammad Ibrahem albb Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 389 401 The Systematicity of "First person pronoun" in Zubayriyat Ubayd Allah bin Qais Al-Ruqayat https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17727
It is no secret to the reader of Umayyad literature that politics played a role in programming the literary awareness of poets who began to favor the rulers around them out of desire or fear, and this is the case of the poet Ubayd Allah ibn Qays al-Ruqayyat, who declared his absolute loyalty to the Zubayrids in their political battle against the Umayyads and other opponents in Other parties that the Zubairis did not succeed in agreeing with any of them; This is because the new era of the state and civilization did not reach its peak with Ibn al-Zubayr, who failed politically before he failed militarily.

In any case, our poet declared loyalty in his praise of Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr and his brother Musab, and his “ego” was immersed in the grind of the group and he was proud, but the implicit pattern showed his “ego” longing to emerge from the cocoon of marginality and search for a place for itself in the text that belonged to the praised. This requires a distinct language for each content. Religious contents require special terminology, as we find in the term “veiling,” which refers to curtains and their unveiling. To reach true knowledge.

Al-Sharif Al-Radi is a poet distinguished by his belonging to an ancient Muslim family, and he diversified his poetic purposes. The poetry of veiling had a special color in each purpose, different from the other purposes. We find that spinning has a Sufi philosophy, Which made him seek to remove the veils that separated him from her, so he passionately sought to remove them, and lamentation was a purpose full of veils in his poetry, but they are religious veils that lead to permanent survival, and are not based on the merits of a dead person. His elegies were double veils.

In the description, the imaginary representations seemed to be based on veils and their role in deepening the poetics that reveal purity, social and religious censorship, authoritarianism, and others.

The poems were filled with poetic concepts loaded with concepts, such as religious concepts, such as (light), and concepts of power, such as (greeds), (despair), and others that reveal the restrictions in society. Obscuration and backbiting intertwined, forming an absolute emotional unity represented by the revelation of a special vision in religion, authority, and society, a vision whose tools were used to reveal the inadequacy of the mind and its limitations in the face of knowledge of divine truths.

Mohsen haydar Rabah Ali Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 489 510 "The Female Character and its Relationship with the Narrative Components in the Novel 'Samar Al-Layali' by Nabil Suleiman https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/18033
This research is concerned with studying the female character in the novel by the writer Nabil Suleiman, “Samar Al-Layali”, especially since the novelistic text needs different types of characters that influence the events of the novel, and work hard to accelerate the movement of events and develop them, and this in turn prompts critics to launch some qualities that determine the ranks of these characters, especially since these characters are known for their relationships with other characters, in addition to the contents and references that form them.
rana duwai Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 511 526 St. Lazarus Knights Order in the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17368
The form of Saint Lazarus appeared early time in the city of Jerusalem, in the Sixth century AH Twelfth century AD, and the cover of her presence is attractive, the pillar of knowledge, the age the year 690 AH-1291 AD, AND it took her name as a relative for lilqidiysin St. Lazarus, the result came for the development of religious and military bodies in the Crusader community, derived a lot one of the European systems prevailing at that time, and it was in the beginning A body of monks her services were demonstrated by providing medical assistance hospital and helping poor patients, it quickly developed and switch to Military body is known St. Lazarus Knights Order it enjoyed great powers in the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem, and it got a lot of grants and fiefdomoms of kings holy city, and it also participated in many battles against Muslims, and it became one of the most important religious organizations Crusade war, and its location in the kingdom city of Jerusalem he enabled her of providing great services to the Crusaders, from protecting the Crusader pilgrims, and building many castles and fortresses that preserved the Crusader presence, all the way to the task of protecting these castles, the most became the important form of the Crusades
ghefar jnedi Wafa Jouni Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 527 541 Postgraduate Students' Acceptance Degree to Use YouTube Platform to Enhance Research Skills Based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) (A Field Study on a Sample of Postgraduate Students in the Faculty of Education at Tishreen University) https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17872
This research aimed to determine the acceptance degree of postgraduate students to use the YouTube platform to enhance research skills. The research aimed to understand the motivations that make adolescents influenced by electronic culture, and to identify the reality of the spread of internet culture among adolescents and measure the degree of influence of moral values patterns on adolescents. In this research, we relied on the descriptive method as the appropriate method that allows us to describe the phenomenon under study as it is. The research concluded a number of results, the most important of which are: adolescents may have been influenced by Western culture as shown by the field study, and the reason behind this is due to the widespread phenomenon of internet culture globally as well as in the Arab world. This means that this research attempted to identify the means of influence and impact that adolescents are subjected to, especially in the context of the spread of social media platforms that participate in the socialization process of individuals and adolescents in particular. We focused in this research on a number of important issues in the context of showing the impact of internet culture on adolescents, and how to address the dominance of this impact on adolescents. On the religious level: sectarian tensions contributed to perpetuating the policy of societal division, as a result of the members of one sect gathering together, and this led to religious sensitivities and the emergence of several sectarian problems. On the economic level: the decline in the living conditions of the population and the loss of many of the requirements of life.

This bitter reality led to the emigration of a large number of people of the Levant towards various countries of the world, and one of those destinations was Egypt, which witnessed during the nineteenth century, and with Muhammad Ali and his family assuming power after him, a state of political, economic and social stability, and thus the country experienced a comprehensive renaissance over the years. Additionally, slopes with above-average grades dominate 40.00% of the basin's area, and southward slope direction prevails over 18.36% of the total basin area. The main land use patterns have been identified, revealing that agricultural land is the primary land use pattern in the study area, covering 62.52% of the basin's total area, followed by forests and urban areas at 28.11% and 9.28%, respectively. Subsequently, the results of the slope characteristics categories were matched with the spatial distribution of land use patterns to highlight the relationship between them, demonstrating the impact of slope characteristics on the expansion and contraction of land use patterns.
Naden Salh Yasser Al-Mohamad Juliet Salloum Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 601 618 Behavioral problems among basic education students A case study of students at Samir Yassin School in Latakia https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17857
The problem of the study was launched by revealing the most prominent dimensions of behavioral problems prevalent among basic education students attending Samir Yassin School in Latakia Governorate as a model, in addition to identifying the most behavioral problems, which were repeatedly identified in this research in four areas (theft, lying, aggression, anger, and stubbornness). Among members of the research community. The questionnaire was distributed to all members of the research community (students at Samir Yassin School for Basic Education in Latakia), who numbered 633 students distributed from the first grade to the sixth grade. The research reached several results, including the most common behavioral problems among members of the research community, which is aggression. The results also revealed the most prominent dimensions of the four behavioral problems that the current research addressed (theft, lying, aggression, anger, and stubbornness), according to the frequencies of the members of the research community.
Hiba Ismail hana brkawe Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 619 634 Attitudes of faculty members in the Department of Psychological Counseling towards adding a course on the psychology of crises and trauma (A field study at the Faculty of Education at Tishreen University) https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17826
The research aims to identify the attitudes of faculty members in the Department of Psychological Counseling towards adding a course on the Psychology of crises and traumas to the curricula of the Faculty of Education at Tishreen University.

To achieve the goal of the research, a questionnaire was built on the attitudes of faculty members in the Department of Psychological Counseling towards adding a course on the psychology of crises and traumas and it included three dimensions.

The research sample consisted of (28) faculty members in the Department of Psychological Counseling, who were drawn using a purposive sampling method from the College of Education at Tishreen University in the city of Latakia, the researcher adopted the descriptive method.

The research reached a set of results indicating the presence of positive attitudes among faculty members in the Department of Psychological Counseling towards adding the psychology of crises and traumas course.

It was also found that there was no difference between the scores of the sample members on a questionnaire about the attitudes of faculty members in the Department of Psychological Counseling towards adding a course on the psychology of crises and traumas according to the gender variable.

Also, no differences were detected between the grades of the sample members according to the variables of academic rank and number of years of teaching experience.
Zulfiqar Murshed Hala Mohamad Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 635 650 The effect of SCAMPER program in developing creative thinking among kindergarten children https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17973
This research aimed to identify the effect of SCAMPER program in developing creative thinking among kindergarten children. In order to achieve the research objectives, the quasi-experimental approach with one group was followed based on an application on the group. The research tools were SCAMPER program and Torrance Test of Formal Creative Thinking (B).

The research reached the following results:

- The emergence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group members in the pre- and post-applications on the Torrance Test of Formal Creative Thinking (B), and these differences are in favor of the post-application.

- The absence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and females of the experimental group on the Torrance Test of Formal Creative Thinking (B).

- The researcher suggested conducting more research and studies to monitor the effect of using SCAMPER program in developing creative thinking for different other age groups.

Mohammad Abou Alarous Rim Chamié Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-14 2024-10-14 46 4 667 677 The effectiveness of a training program designed according to knowledge management processes in developing academic scientific research skills (A quasi-experimental study on a sample of students from the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods at Tishreen University) https://journal.tishreen.edu.sy/index.php/humlitr/article/view/17875
The research aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a training program designed according to knowledge management processes (identifying and diagnosing knowledge, generating knowledge, storing knowledge, disseminating knowledge, applying knowledge and using it) in developing academic scientific research skills (the skill of collecting scientific material, the skill of developing previous studies, the skill of identifying...
