Abstract

The research aims to identify the extent to which the management of the Syrian Basketball Association applies the dimensions of change management as perceived by its workers, and to identify the impact of the variables (scientific qualification - experience) on the extent to which the dimensions of change management are applied in the Basketball Association, and the researcher used the descriptive survey method to suit the nature of the study, The comprehensive inventory method was used to select the sample and it consisted of (79) administrators in the Syrian Arab Basketball Federation, in addition to its technical committees and sub-committees emanating from it and supervisors of the basketball game in clubs, the questionnaire was used as a tool for research, and The most prominent conclusions of the study were that the application of the dimensions of change management in the Syrian Basketball Association came at the average level, and that the actual reality of the Basketball Association is not characterized by innovation and creativity by sports leaders, and the organizational structure is not developed continuously, which hinders the completion of the work of the union, and the results showed There are statistically significant differences in the sample answers according to the educational qualification variable and in favor of the university degree holders in the application of change management, and there are no statistically significant differences in the sample answers according to the variable (experience) in the application of change management.
