تراكم بعض المعادن النذرة في بعض أنواع الإسفنجيات في الشاطئ السوري
Abstract
الغرض الأساسي من هذا العمل هو اختبار أهمية بعض أنواع الإسفنجيات التي تعيش في الشاطئ السوري لمعرفة تلوث وسطها المائي ببعض المعادن النذرة ومقارنة التراكيز الموجودة في أنسجتها مع تلك الموجودة في المياه البحرية. تم تحديد تلك التراكيز في ثلاثة مواقع موزعة بين رأس البسيط وطرطوس. تراوحت تراكيز المعادن في نسج الإسفنجيات بين0.2 و 1.0 µg/g لكل من الكادميوم , الرصاص , النحاس , الكروم, بينما كانت في الوسط المائي المحيط أقل من 1.0 µg/l. كانت تراكيز عنصر الزئبق في الإسفنجيات حوالي. 010 ng/g وفي الوسط المائي ما بين 10.0 و 120.0 ng/l. وأخيراً فقد سُجلت تراكيز عالية للتوتياء بين 40.0 – 180.0 µg/g في نسج الإسفنجيات و بين 5.0 – 20.0 µg/l في المياه المحيطة. دلت معظم النتائج على المقدرة الكبيرة للأنواع الإسفنجية المدروسة على تجميع المعادن النذرة من أوساطها المائية البحرية, كما كان واضحاً التغير في تراكيز هذه العناصر في النسج الإسفنجية ما بين المناطق النظيفة (البسيط) والمناطق الأقل نظافة (شاطئ طرطوس).
The aim of the present work is to test the value of some species of sponges living in Syrian coast as bio-indicators of trace metals contamination and compare results with concentration found in water. The concentrations of trace metals in sponges and water were determined in three sites distributed between Ras Al-bassit and Tartous coast. The concentration of metals in sponges ranged between ( 0.2 - 1.0 ) µg/g for Cd; Cu; Cr;Pb while it was less than 1.0 µg/l in sea water. As for the mercury, the concentrations were about 10 ng/g in sponges and in sea water they ranged between (10 – 120) ng/ l ; for zinc the concentrations were too high: they ranged between (40 – 180 ) µg/g in sponges and
( 5 -20 ) µg/l in sea water. Most results indicate the high capacity of sponges to accumulate trace elements form sea water; and the response of sponges to the changes of trace metals concentration was found to be significant between cleaner and clean area.
