دراسة تأثير استعمالات الأراضي في تنوع الطيور في موقع السفكون – اللاذقية

Abstract

على الرغم من أهمية الغابات في الحفاظ على التنوع الحيوي, فإن مساحتها في تراجع مستمر قياساً بالأشكال الأخرى لاستعمالات الأراضي, كما أن المعلومات حول تأثير تحويل أراضي الغابات إلى استعمالات أخرى على المجموعات التصنيفية المختلفة من الكائنات الحية قليلة جداً.

يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تأثير استعمال الأراضي في تنوع الطيور.

أظهرت الدراسة انخفاض الغنى النوعي للطيور من الغابة وباتجاه الأراضي الزراعية, وتناقص عدد الأنواع المحلية بنفس الاتجاه. كما بينت أن استجابة الطيور لتعديل الموئل تختلف باختلاف المجموعة الوظيفية (آكلات فاكهة, آكلات حشرات ....), على حين أن آكلات البذور لم تختلف بين الموائل.

وعلى الرغم من أن الدراسة أكدت أهمية الأراضي الزراعية التي تحتوي غطاء شجرياً في صيانة مجتمعات الطيور, فإنها خلصت من جهة أخرى إلى أن هذه الأراضي قد لا تستطيع دعم مجموعات حيوية مهمة من الطيور كالجوارح, وقد وجدت بأن مجموعات الطيور كانت أكثر توازناً في الغابة الطبيعية.

كما اقترحت الدراسة البحث عن طرق لإدارة الأراضي الزراعية, تسهم بالحفاظ على التنوع الحيوي ضمن المنظر الطبيعي.

In spite of the importance of forests in the maintenance of biodiversity, their area is in continual decrease in comparison with other land use systems. However,  information on modifying forests into other types of use is rare.

This research aims at studying the effect of land use on  birds diversity in Al-Safkuon area, Lattakia.

The study has showed that the qualitative richness of birds has decreased from forests and   the agricultural lands. Moreover, the number of native species has declined in the same way.

The study has also showed that different groups of birds respond in different ways, whereas richness in granivorous did not differ among habitats.

Although, the study has indicated the importance of high tree cover in agricultural lands for conservation birds' community, it was found that agricultural lands can't support important groups of birds (like raptors).

Furthermore, the study has stressed that all groups of birds are more stable in natural forests.

The study has recommended additional search on methods of managing agricultural land which contributes to maintenance of biodiversity on landscapes.
