Abstract

تبين هذه الدراسة التوزع المكاني والزماني لأفراد بعض أنواع العوالق الحيوانية وتبدلات شفوفية الماء في منطقتين متباينتين من خزان سد 16 تشرين التجميعي خلال فترة الهطولات المطرية (للعام 2007-2008).  خلصت الدراسة إلى وجود أفراد أنواع متفرعات القرون Daphnia pulex, D. longispina, Bosmina longirostris في أسفل الخزان (المنطقة البحيرية) بغزارة أكثر ممّا هي عليه في أعلى الخزان (المنطقة النهرية)، بينما سيطرت الدواريات من النوع Keratella quadrata, Asplanchna spp في المنطقة النهرية .

وجدت أفرادا مجذافي الأرجل Mesocyclops  leuckarti بغزارة أكثر في المنطقة البحيرية بالمقارنة مع المنطقة النهرية، وذلك في نهاية فصل الشتاء، ولكنه لاحقاً أصبح أكثر وفرة في المنطقة النهرية في بداية فصل الربيع.

كانت شفوفية المياه خلال فترة الدراسة منخفضة وبشكل ملحوظ في المنطقة النهرية بالمقارنة مع المنطقة البحيرية، كما لوحظ وجود علاقة ارتباط طردية بين شفوفية الماء والغزارة الكلية لأفراد جنس Daphnia في المنطقة البحيرية حيث بلغت قيمة معامل التحديد (r2) تساوي r2= 0.62 ولم تسجل مثل هذه العلاقة بينهما في المنطقة النهرية.

تبين نتائج هذه الدراسة وجود اختلافات حيوية وغير حيوية واضحة بين المنطقتين النهرية والبحيرية من خزان سد 16 تشرين التجميعي.

This study describes the spatial and temporal distribution of zooplankton and water clarity in two distinguished zones in the 16 Tishreen reservoir in precipitations season 2007-2008.This study concluded that the Cladocera (Daphnia pulex, D. longispina, and Bosmina longirostris) were significantly more abundant in the lacustrine zone than the riverine zone. While The Rotifers (Keratella quadrata, Asplanchna spp.) were dominant in the riverine zone.

The Cyclopoid  Copepoda, Mesocyclops  leuckarti was significantly more abundant in the lacustrine zone than the riverine zone at the end of the winter, but became more abundant in the riverine zone later in the spring.

Water transparency was significantly lower in the riverine zone. This study lead to the conclusion that the density of the genus Daphnia was positively dependent on the Water transparency in the lacustrine zone, but not in  the riverine zone.

These results illustrate biotic and abiotic differences between riverine and lacustrine zones in the reservoir of 16 Tishreen.
