دور مراكز الأبحاث والدراسات في السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية

Abstract

يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة مؤسسات الفكر والرأي  في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ودورها في السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية ، حيث يمكن اعتبار مراكز الأبحاث والدراسات السياسية كأحد المحددات الرئيسة للسياسة الخارجية الأمريكية وبشكل خاص بعد أحداث أيلول / سبتمبر.

لقد أصبحت مراكز الأبحاث والدراسات من أبرز سمات المجتمع السياسي الأمريكي ولذلك فإن معظم الدراسات التي تقوم بها هذه المراكز تجد طريقها لتكون عاملاً محدداً ومؤثراً على صنّاع السياسة الخارجية إما بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر وهذا ما سيظهر من خلال هذه الدراسة.

وستتم دراسة مؤسسات الفكر والرأي في هذا البحث من خلال إعطاء لمحة لنشأة مؤسسات الفكر والرأي في الولايات المتحدة ، ومن ثمّ دراسة كيفية تأثيرها على السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية وآلية هذا التأثير و نتائجه ، وأخيراً عرض لأهم هذه المراكز وأهدافها وأهم الدراسات الصادرة عنها.

This research looks at the role of US think-tanks in American foreign policy. Following 9/11, these centres have become the most influential features of American political society, so that all studies conducted at these centres see their ways to being published and hence end up being crucial factors directly or indirectly affecting  foreign policy makers. In this study, think-tanks are dealt with by giving an overview of their rise in the US, highlighting the mechanism and results of their  impact on American foreign policy, and offering a survey of these centers and their objectives and publications.
