تجارب في استخدام الكحول كوقود بديل في محركات الديزل لتخفيف التلوث الناتج عنها
Abstract
يتضمن هذا البحث دراسة إمكانية استخدام المواد الكحولية كوقود في محركات الديزل بغية تحسين اقتصاديتها وتخفيف التلوث الناتج عنها. لذلك أجريت تجارب عملية عديدة على محرك تجريبي تم حقنه بالكحول الميتيلي ووقود الديزل بشكل مستقل، أو بخليط منهما بشكل مستحلب.
يعرض المقال الجانب الهام من النتائج التي تبين إمكانية عمل المحرك على الميتانول مع كمياتٍ قليلة من وقود الديزل، وبأن استخدام وقود الديميتيل إيتر والمواد الكحولية عموماً في محركات الديزل يقلل نسبة المواد الضارة الملوثة للبيئة في الغازات الناتجة عن الاحتراق، ولاسيما أكاسيد الآزوت NOx والكربون الجاف C، وبأنه يمكن التغلب على مشكلة انخفاض استطاعة المحرك عند عمله باستخدام المواد الكحولية عبر زيادة كمية الوقود المحقونة.
This research studies the possibility of using alcohol fuel in diesel engines to decrease their specific consumption and pollution of environment. Many experiments had been performed using an experimental engine injecting it with methanol, diesel fuel, or emulsion of methanol and diesel fuel.
The tests showed the possibility of using methanol (with little amounts of diesel fuel) in diesel engines. In general, using alcohol fuel in diesel engines will remarkably decrease the harmful polluting components in the exhaust gases, specially nitrogen oxides NOx and carbon C. The loss in the engine capacity, when using alcohol fuels, can be avoided by increasing the amount of the injected fuel.
