تأثير النمط المولد لحجم الملف على معدل التأخيرفي شبكات WAN
Abstract
يعتبر التأخير الناتج عن نقل الملفات في شبكات WAN من أهم البارامترات المحددة لجودة الشبكة . ولإمكانية فهم و تقدير التاخير لا بد من اختيار نمط التوزيع الإحتمالي الممثل لأحجام الملفات. في هذه المقالة تم عرض أنماط التوزيعPareto و Pareto المحدود المولدة لحجم الملفات المرسلة خلال شبكة الإنترنيت ودراسة تأثير حجم الملف وفقا للنمط المولد على معدل تاخير إرساله. تبين أنه من أجل الملفات الصغيرة و المتوسطة الحجم يكون معدل التأخير بالنسبة للملفات المولدة بنمط Pareto المحدود أقل منه في حالة الملفات المولدة بنمط Pareto . أما بالنسبة للملفات الكبيرة و المختلطة ، فإن نمط توزيع Pareto يدعم معدل تأخير أقل من نمط Pareto المحدود. وأخيرًا درسنا تأثير بارامتر الشكل لنمط التوزيع Pareto على معدل التأخير.
The delay of file transfer has a considerable impact on network quality. The selection of the most appropriate distribution model to generate file size is considered necessary to studying the average delay in networks. In this paper, the influence of the file size generated by distribution models such as Pareto and Truncated Pareto on average delay is investigated. For small and medium-size files, the average delay in the system is smaller for truncated Pareto than for Pareto. On the other hand, Pareto supports smaller delay for mixed and large file size. Finally we investigate the effect of the shape parameter of the above-mentioned models on average delay.
