Abstract

تقع منطقة البحث شمال مدينة طرطوس، ويحدها من الشمال نهر مرقية، ومن الجنوب والجنوب الشرقي نهر الحصين، ومن الغرب البحر المتوسط، وتمتد على مساحة قدرها نحو 30 km2. يهدف البحث إلى دراسة ظروف وجود المياه الجوفية في المنطقة، وتقويم موارد المياه الجوفية فيها كماً ونوعاً.

اعتمدت الدراسة على القياسات في شبكة رصد، موزعة بشكل شبه منتظم في المنطقة. تتألف الشبكة من 24 بئر مراقبة محفورة في طبقات الرباعي والنيوجين، والكريتاسي. تراوح تغيرات مناسيب المياه الجوفية في طبقات الكريتاسي بين (0 – 10) m، وتراوح الناقلية الكهربائية للمياه الجوفية بين (400-900) . نوعية المياه في منطقة الدراسة هي بيكربوناتية – كلسية – مغنيزية، وأحياناً بيكربوناتية – كلسية – مغنيزية - كبريتية، أي إنها مياه عذبة، متوسطة الملوحة.

The research area is located at the north of Tartous city, and bordered on the north Marqieh River, and from the south and south-east Alhousen River, and the Mediterranean Sea to the west, and extends over an area of about 30 km2.

The research aims to study the groundwater properties in the region, and evaluate the groundwater resources, quantitatively and qualitatively. The study depends on measurements in the observation network distributed semi-regular in the region.

The network consists of 24 monitoring wells drilled in the Quaternary, Neogene, and Cretaceous deposits. The changes of groundwater levels in the Cretaceous deposits fluctuate between (0-0)m, and the electrical conductivity of groundwater between
(400-900) . Water quality in the study area is Bicarbonate- Lime- Manganese, and sometimes Bicarbonate- lime- sulfate, so it is fresh to brackish water.
