بيئة بلا عوائق للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الحركية
Abstract
يعد الأطفال ذوو الاحتياجات الخاصة جزءًا لا يتجزأ من مجتمع الأطفال الأسوياء، شباب المستقبل الذين يتم إعدادهم وفق برامج معينة، لتكملة مسيرة البناء والتنمية في المجتمع.
وتمثل إعاقة الأطفال مشكلة لها آثارها الجسيمة في المجالات النفسية والتربوية والاجتماعية، لا على الأطفال وحدهم فحسب، بل على المجتمع بأكمله.
إن عملية دمج الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة لا تتم بالتأهيل النفسي والاجتماعي فحسب، إذ لا بد من إيجاد نوع من التقارب المادي بين هذا الطفل والبيئة التي يعيش فيها، و ذلك بتكييف التصاميم المعمارية والهندسية لمختلف الفراغات العمرانية مع متطلبات هؤلاء الأطفال.
فرضية البحث: إن النقص الواضح في التجهيزات والوسائل الملائمة لذوي الإعاقة الحركية ضمن المنشآت والمرافق المخصصة للأطفال يمكن تداركه من خلال إضافات وتعديلات ميسرة بما لا يؤثر على أداء البناء.
تعكس نتائج البحث حلولا تطبيقية تحسن في البيئة المادية بما يتناسب مع متطلبات هؤلاء الأطفال وتخلق بيئة اجتماعية مناسبة توفر علاقة صحية متبادلة بين المجتمع وهذه الشريحة.
Disabled children are an integral part of the community of normal children they are future young people who are prepared by specific programs to continue the process of construction and development of society. Children disability has serious psychological, educational, and social effects on the entire community. Integration is not done just by psychological and social rehabilitation, but it is important to find some kind of physical closeness between the child and the environment, adapting the architectural and engineering designs to children’s needs.
The premise of this research: the clear lack of equipment and suitable tools for motor disabled children’s needs in buildings and facilities could be obviated by adding adaptations which do not affect the performance of the building.
The results of this research reflect applied solutions that improve the physical environment to meet children’s needs and create an appropriate social environment that provides a reciprocal healthy relationship between community and children.
