Text Image Compression and Hiding Using Random Formula in Color Images
Keywords:
data hiding, compression, Run Length Encoding RLE, Least Significant Bit LSB.Abstract
The research suggests a technique for hiding data in order to protect it, and access to good compression ratios for the rapid transmission of data in images, with the possibility of restoring the image with very good accuracy.
In order to compress the data the Run Length Encoding RLE coding method was used, which led to data reduction without losing any image information.
After the compression, the LSB least significant bit method was applied to hide the compressed data using a random formula in the selection of storage locations. The results showed that the algorithm is highly efficient in hiding and compression together, as the compression ratio reached 65%, the PSNR was 57.1639 and it is very good results compared to the previous work.
