Abstract

This study aims to find out the Extent of the Physical and Sports Activities Impact on enhancing social interaction among a sample of war wounded in Syria., The descriptive approach was adopted by distributing a research questionnaire to an appropriate sample of war-wounded participants in sports activities programs in Syria, numbering (60) individuals, of which (56) questionnaires were retrieved, valid for analysis, with a recovery rate of (93.3%). In light of this, data was collected and analyzed and hypotheses tested using the SPSS statistical package for social sciences. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: There is a high level of evaluation for each of the implemented sports activities programs, and social interaction among the respondents. The findings also showed the existence of a correlation between each of the sports activities programs and social interaction, in addition to the presence of an average positive effect of statistical significance for sports activities programs in promoting social interaction, which explains a rate of 27.8%.

The study ended with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is educating the war-wounded category of the importance of participating in the sports activities programs that are implemented for their contribution to their social rehabilitation and enhancing their interaction with their social environment, and focusing on carrying out group sports activities that spread the spirit of interaction, competition and enthusiasm among them
