انتشار سوء الإطباق في عينة من الأطفال السوريين في فترة الإطباق المختلط المتأخر
Abstract
الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو استقصاء و تقييم نسب انتشار سوء الإطباق حسب تصنيف أنجل ضمن عينة من الأطفال السوريين في مرحلة الإطباق المختلط المتأخر. تكونت عينة البحث من 936 طفلاً
(490 ذكور و 446 اناث) تراوحت أعمارهم بين 10-11 سنة، تم فحصهم سريريا و تحديد نوع الإطباق لديهم
وفقا لتصنيف أنجل. نتائج الدراسة بينت أن 40.2 % من الأطفال كان لديهم ٳطباق طبيعي بينما عانى 59.8% منهم من أشكال مختلفة من سوء الٳطباق: 35.5 % لديهم سوء ٳطباق من الصنف الأول، 17 % لديهمم سوء ٳطباق من الصنف الثاني نموذج أول، 2.2 % لديهم سوء ٳطباق من الصنف الثاني نموذج ثانٍ و 5.1 % لديهم سوء ٳطباق من الصنف الثالث. لم يلعب جنس الطفل دوراً ذا مدلول إحصائي مهم سواء بالنسبة الى حدوث سوء ٳطباق أو الى نوع سوء الإطباق المشاهد بين الذكور و الإناث.
The aim of this study was to investigate and to assess the prevalence of malocclusion in a sample of Syrian school children in the late mixed dentition using Angle's classification. The sample formed of 936 children (490 males and 446 females) aged 10-11 years whom were clinically examined to determine the kind of occlusion according to Angle's classification. The results showed that 40.2 % of the children had normal occlusion, 35.5 % had class I malocclusion, 17 % had class II division 1 malocclusion, 2.2 % had class II division 2 malocclusion, 5.1 % had class III malocclusion. The gender was not statistically significant for the occurrence of malocclusion or neither for the type of malocclusion recorded among males and females.
