دراسة مقارنة تأثير اللاتانوبروست مع التيمولول 0,5% موضعياً في المراحل الباكرة للزرق مفتوح الزاوية
Abstract
لقد تم إجراء مقارنة تأثير قطرة التيمولول0,50 % وقطرة اللاتانوبروست في خفض الضغط داخل العين إلى المجال الطبيعي ومقارنة القطرتين في المحافظة على التقعر الزرقي والقدرة والساحة البصرية لدى المرضى .
شملت الدراسة 25 مريضاً يعانين من زرق مفتوح الزاوية في مراحله الباكرة وتم تقسيمهم لمجموعتين:
- المجموعة الأولى: تضم 14 مريضاً ( 11 ذكر + 3 إناث), وكان متوسط أعمار المرضى 57 سنة, وكان عدد الأعين المعالجة في هذه المجموعة 24 عيناً. يستعمل هؤلاء المرضى قطرة التيمولول 0,50% مرتين في اليوم صباحاً ومساءً .
- المجموعة الثانية: تضم 11 مريضاً ( 6 ذكور +5 إناث), وكان متوسط العمر لدى المرضى 53 سنة, وكان عدد الأعين المعالجة في هذه المجموعة 19 عيناً . يستعمل هؤلاء المرضى قطرة اللاتانوبروست مرة واحدة في اليوم .
لقد تبين عدم جود فرق مهم بين قطرة التيمولول 0,50% وقطرة اللاتلانوبروست في خفض الضغط داخل المقلة وفي المحافظة على التقعر الزرقي وعلى القدرة البصرية والساحة البصرية لدى المرضى .لذلك من الممكن استخدام قطرة التيمولول 0,50% أو قطرة اللاتانوبروست في تخفيض الضغط داخل المقلة عند مرضى الزرق مفتوح الزاوية في مراحله الباكرة دون وجود مضاد استطباب للقطرة المستخدمة . لكن من الأفضل إجراء دراسات مستقبلية بالموضوع نفسه لإثبات هذه النتائج التي حصلنا عليها .
In this study, we made a comparison between the effects of timolol drop 0.50% and latanoprost drop on reducing intraocular pressure of normal range, comparing drops in the maintenance of glaucomatous cupping and visual acuity with the patients' visual field. This study included 25 patients with open angle glaucoma in the early stages. These patients were divided into two groups:
Group 1: This group included (14) patients (11 males+3 females). The average age of patients was 57 years, and the number of treated eyes in this group was 24. These patients used the timolol drop 0.50% twice a day in the morning and evening .
Group 2: This group included (11) patients ( 6 males + 5 females). The average age of patients was 53 years, and the number of treated eyes in this group was 19. These patients used latanoprost drop once a day. We monitored both groups for a period of 6 months. There was no significant difference between timolol 0.50% and latanoprost in reducing eyeball pressure and preserving glaucomatous cupping and visual acuity and the visual field of the patients. Therefore, it is possible to use timolol drop 0.50% or latanoprost drop for reducing eyeball pressure without contraindication. However, further research on the same issue is needed to prove the results obtained .
