Abstract

The problem of the study revolved around the following main question: Is there an impact of self-esteem in its psychological, social and professional dimensions on the academic achievement of female secondary school students in the city of Jableh? The study also focused on a set of objectives, the most important of which can be identified in the following: Identifying each of the concepts of self-esteem in its different dimensions psychological, social and professional in the level of academic achievement, as well as identifying the most important levels and factors affecting it, in addition to identifying academic achievement, its principles and the factors affecting it as well. The descriptive analytical approach was used in the study, and the data were studied and analyzed using the SPSS program, and after analyzing the data, the following was found: There is a statistically significant effect of psychological self-esteem on academic achievement, and there is no effect of social and professional self-esteem on the academic achievement of the mentioned sample
