Social and cultural factors associated with the prevalence of plastic surgery
Abstract
Plastic surgery have achieved a real revolution in the medical field, , and the world of fashion and marketing, due to their fulfillment of aesthetic, psychological, and medical demands, and their spread has accelerated in the recent period greatly among both sexes of all kinds, to become one of the common surgeries in this era, and the current research aims to identify plastic operations and their types Whether surgical or non-surgical, ameliorative, restorative (body lift, rhinoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation or reduction, lip or facial fillers, Botox, hair transplantation, laser), in addition to that, identifying the social and cultural factors that contributed to its spread among different groups. Society and all its segments, and the sociological analysis tool was used to explain and analyze these factors
