The problems facing Arabic language teachers at the secondary level in the State of Kuwait when teaching Arabic grammar courses from their point of view

Abstract

This article aimed to identify the problems facing Arabic language teachers while teaching grammar courses in secondary schools in Kuwait from the teachers’ point of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire were used as a tool to collect data from the study sample consisting of (807) school teachers. The secondary stage in Kuwait. The results of the study concluded that the study sample’s estimates of the problems related to them as teachers came to a moderate degree, the estimates of the difficulties related to the teaching and learning environment came to a moderate degree, and the estimates of the difficulties related to the curriculum came to a very large degree. The results also concluded that there were differences Statistically significant with regard to the estimates of the study sample members about the problems related to the teaching and learning environment according to the variable of gender and in favor of females, and the presence of differences with regard to the problems related to the teachers themselves, as well as the difficulties related to the school curriculum according to the variable number of years of experience, and in favor of those with the number of years of experience (less than 5 years), while it was found that there were no differences depending on the educational region variable.
