Abstract
This research aims to study the differences in emotionalintelligenceaccording to two variables locus of: gender, and environment (country – city) in the lattakia city. The sample of the study Consisted of (100) male, and (102) femaleprimary school. The researcher used EmotionalIntelligence scale bar-on. The results revealed that, There is a significant statistical difference between males and females in emotional intelligence in favor of females. There is no significant statistical difference between country students and city students in emotional intelligence.
