The Reality of Diversity Management and its Impact on Organizational Culture: Field Study on Workers in the School Sports Education Departments in the Syrian Coast
Abstract
Diversity in the workforce is common in organizations of all kinds, whether profitable or non-profit, including educational institutions, and diversity in human resources is not only a phenomenon at the international level, but also exists at the local level. The Syrian and the impact of this diversity on the organizational culture prevailing in them and to achieve this was based on a questionnaire and distributed to (37) members of the school sports education departments and the most important results reached that the gender (male, female) does not affect the distribution of tasks and powers among employees, as well as the positive impact of diversity management on the organizational culture and the absence of statistically significant differences between the average scoring of the research sample members depending on the variables of gender, educational attainment, job title and age.
