Abstract

This research aimed to know the level of post traumatic stress disorder among a sample of the sons martyrs in adolescence, and to know the differences in the degree of PTSD between males and females, as it aimed to detect the differences in the degree of PTSD depending on the variables; period of the shock and ranking AD for the research sample. In This research it is used Davidson's scale of PTSD ,which is based in the diagnosis DSM-IV , which was translated to Arabic by Abdul Aziz Thabet. The researcher extracted the validity and reliability for the scale of PTSD. The research is applied in area Jableh school. The sample consisted of (38) adolescents (19) males and 19 females. The research is found the following results: The level of PTSD is average ,and there is no statistically significant differences in the degree of PTSD between males and females, as too there are no statistically significant differences in the degree of PTSD depending on the variables of a period of shock and ranking AD research sample.
