Abstract

 This study amid to identify the attitudes of the female students in the faculty of educational sciences at Mu’tah University toward mental illness, and it aimed to investigate the effect of some variable (Specialization, Age and GPA) on these attitudes. In order to achieve to aims of this study, the scale of attitudes toward mental illness was applied on the 114 students. The results indicated that the attitudes of female students towards mental illness were positive. Also, indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the attitudes due to the specialization and GPA. And there are statistically significant differences in attitudes due to the age.
