Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تأثير التشتية على التغير في الوزن وعلى المردود الاقتصادي لتربية سمك الكارب في الأقفاص العائمة في بحيرة سد 16 تشرين. بينت النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها، بأن لفترة التشتية تأثيرا" سلبيا" على أسماك الكارب الشائع من ناحية المردود الاقتصادي لعملية التربية، وذلك من خلال تراجع وزن الناتج النهائي، وازداد هذا التأثير السلبي بازدياد طول فترة التشتية ووصل إلى حده الأعظم مع بدء ارتفاع درجة حرارة الوسط المائي حيث بلغت نسبة التراجع في الوزن 8% في شهر نيسان (متوسط درجة حرارة المياه 17 مْ), مقارنة مع 1% في شهر كانون الثاني. كما حرض ارتفاع درجة حرارة المياه، الأسماك على الدخول في موسم التكاثر وبالتالي وضع البيض، الذي سبب أيضا" تراجعا" كبيرا" في الوزن، ما أدى بالنتيجة إلى تخفيض هامش الربح. كما أدى التأخر أو عدم بيع المنتج في نهاية موسم التربية إلى خسارة، على الرغم من أنه لم يتم  تقديم أي نوع من الأعلاف للأسماك التي مرت في فترة التشتية, باعتبار أن تقديم مثل هذه الأعلاف  يؤدي إلى زيادة التكاليف والتي لن يكون لها مقابل في زيادة وزن المنتج ما يعمل على تقليص هامش الربح أيضا".

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of over- wintering on weight changes and productivity of Common carp (Cyprinus carpio), farmed in the net-cages in 16th Tishreen Lake. Our results show a negative effect of over-wintering on the aquaculture process, which is reflected in a reduction of the final yield. This negative effect increases as the over-wintering period increases reaching its maximum when the temperature of water starts to rise, and the loss of weight reached/ 8 %/ in April (medium water temperature 17 degrees), compared to/1 % / in January. Indeed, the increasing of water temperature led the fishes to enter the reproduction season and ovulation, leading as a result to a reduction of weight, and consequently in the profit margin. Also the delay in marketing at the end of the aquaculture process led to financial losses despite the fact that no feeds were offered to the fish during the over- wintering period, as so doing would naturally increase costs which would not be compensated in any weight gain whatsoever.
