The Role Of Diplomacy In Strengthening International Relations

Abstract

The roots of diplomacy go back to ancient human history when it arose in response to the necessity to regulate relations between tribes and peoples, where the envoy exercised a political role that is considered at the forefront of the clear political roles in human societies. The functions of diplomacy can be defined in three primary goals which are diplomatic representation, reporting and negotiation. Diplomacy is characterized by several specific characteristics that we distinguish three of which are scientific, specialized, and non-esoteric, and it is also civilized.

Traditional diplomacy, development diplomacy, conference diplomacy, and people’s diplomacy. There is also business diplomacy, summit diplomacy, and preventive diplomacy. The importance of diplomacy in people's lives

It lies as the main tool to achieve the goals of foreign policy, and diplomacy can be used as one of the basic tools and methods for implementing the goals and policies of organizations. If diplomacy is the outcome of the action of variables, it definitely has different types that vary according to its impact on the influencing factors and the action of the variables and the variation in the nature of the political systems that represent them. At the present time, the main function of diplomacy is to represent the interests of the state, and it benefits from the implementation and good implementation of the program through systematic actions through negotiations that take place between the two states or states, which are useful in bringing points of view, persuading and directing them. The second function is to formulate and define these objectives and goals; And the preparation of guidelines for those who conduct negotiations, which is the means by which the good or dissatisfaction of the relationship is expressed
