العلاقة بين الحماية المهبطية والأثر البيولوجي على التآكل
Abstract
التآكل المتأثر بالأحياء الدقيقة هو أحد أعظم الألغاز أمام العلم وهندسة التآكل، وهو التآكل الناتج عن وجود الكائنات الحية بالإضافة إلى نشاطها مثل البكتريا والفطور. فهو المسؤول عن حوالي 27% من التآكلات الخارجية التي تحدث في خطوط الأنابيب المدفونة في التربه وتستخدم للحماية ضد أشكال التآكل والتصدع الخارجي عدة مواد للتغطية مثل الإسفلت وأشرطة البولي أوليفين وأشرطة الدمج الايبوكسية، إضافة لذلك تعزز حماية خطوط الأنابيب بواسطة الحماية المهبطية CP. بالرغم من كل هذا يحدث التآكل الحيوي.
Microbiologically-influenced corrosion (MIC) is one of the greatest mysteries of corrosion science and engineering. (MIC) is corrosion resulting from the presence and activities of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi. It is responsible for 27% of the corrosion deposits on the exterior of line pipe. To protect against all forms of external corrosion and cracking, several coating materials are used including asphalts, polyolefin tapes, and fusion-bonded epoxies (FBE). Line pipe is further protected by an impressed current or cathodic protection (CP). MIC can occur in the presence of these preventative measures.
