مقارنة رضى المريض عند إجراء عملية إعادة تموضع الشفة وعملية إعادة تموضع الشفة المعدلة كعمل جراحي تجميلي لتدبير الابتسامة اللثوية
Abstract
إن الغاية من أي عمل جراحي تجميلي هو رضى المريض عن النتيجة، فكثير من الإجراءات الجراحية التجميلية تكون ناجحة من الناحية التقنية ولكنها لا تحقق رضى المريض والعكس صحيح.
هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تقييم فعالية كل من عملية إعادة تموضع الشفة وعملية إعادة تموضع الشفة المعدلة كعمل جراحي تجميلي في تصحيح الابتسامة اللثوية الناجمة عن فرط حركة الشفة العلوية من حيث رضى المريض عن النتيجة بمرور الزمن، وتحديد الطريقة الجراحية الأفضل بين الطريقتين والتي تضمن للمريض النتائج التجميلية والوظيفية الأفضل والأكثر ثباتاً.
تتألف عينة البحث من 20 مريضاً راجعوا كلية طب الأسنان بشكوى ظهور زائد للثة عند الابتسام، حيث تم اجراء عملية إعادة تموضع الشفة ل 10 مرضى وعملية إعادة تموضع الشفة المعدلة للمرضى العشرة الأخرين. وتضمنت المراقبة السريرية أخذ رضى المرضى قبل المعالجة وبعد شهر و3 أشهر و6 أشهر من الجراحة.
أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن تصحيح الابتسامة اللثوية الناجمة عن فرط نشاط الشفة العلوية بوساطة عملية إعادة تموضع الشفة المعدلة يعطي نتائج أفضل من عملية أعادة تموضع الشفة التقليدية من الناحية الإحصائية من حيث رضى المريض عن العمل الجراحي في نهاية فترة المراقبة.
The aim of any plastic surgery is the patient’s satisfaction of the result. Although many plastic surgeries are technically correct, the patient is not satisfied and vice versa.
This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of Lip Reposition and Modified Lip Reposition as a plastic surgery in management of the gummy smile caused by hyperactive upper lip on the patient satisfaction level.
The study sample consists of 20 female patients who came to the faculty of dentistry with a major complain of an excessive gingival display while smiling. Traditional lip reposition was done for half of the study sample and the modified lip reposition is done for the other 10 patients. Follow up includes taking the patient satisfaction level on the scale of 5 before and after 1, 3 and 6 months after the surgery.
The result showed that modified lip reposition as a surgical method in management of gummy smile caused by hyperactive lip gives better results on the patient satisfaction level than the traditional technique.
