Career Future Anxiety and its Relationship to University Students Attitudes Toward Immigration Abroad A Field Study on a Sample of Tishreen University Students

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the relationship between career future anxiety and attitude towards immigration abroad among Tishreen university students, and the level of anxiety about career future, the level of attitudes towards immigration abroad, as well as revealing the predictive ability of career future anxiety towards the attitudes towards immigration abroad , the research was conducted on a sample of Tishreen university students in the last academic year, there were 445 students, male and female In different Faculties( Education and Psychology, Law, physical education, Arabic and English language, Economics, medicine, Nursing, Information Engineering and civil engineering).                                                                

in the research the attitudes towards immigration Abroad questionnaire and career future anxiety scal was used, prepared by the researcher after verifying the validity and reliability of the tools in the local environment.

The research ended up:

-There is a correlation between career future anxiety as a whole and its sub-dimension and students ' attitudes towards immigration abroad.

-There is a  average level of career future anxiety equal to  the hypothesized average of the scale.

- There is an positive average level of  attitudes towards immigration abroad that is higher than the hypothesized average of the scale

- There is a predictive ability for career future anxiety regarding the attitude toward immigration abroad.
