Abstract

يسعى البحث إلى بيان خصائص النظرة الحديثة إلى العالم, ويركز في هذا الإطار على نقطتين أساسيتين: الطبيعة والمنهج. لقد نُظر إلى الطبيعة بوصفها آلة يمكن فهمها بتفكيكها إلى أجزاء, وقد نجم هذا الموقف عن المنهج التحليلي الذي هيمن خلال الحقبة الحديثة. كما يبين البحث الانتقادات التي وجهها مفكرون عديدون إلى هذين الموقفين والأفكار التي طرحوها لتجاوزهما.

This research explores the characteristics of modern worldview and focuses on two points: Nature and Method. Nature is seen as a machine that can be understood by reduction into parts. This attitude results from the analytical method that has dominated the modern era. Also, this study highlights criticisms of these two attitudes made by thinkers expressing alternative positions.
