قطاع التأمين السوري وأثر دخول شركات تأمين خاصة على حجم الطلب التأميني

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة واقع قطاع التأمين في الجمهورية العربية السورية خلال الفترة الممتدة ما بين 1990-2010 ، وإيجاد مؤشرات كثافة التأمين وتغلغل التأمين في سورية ،كما يهدف لمعرفة أثر دخول شركات التأمين الخاصة إلى سوق التأمين المحلية،و توزع حجم الطلب فيما بينها وبين المؤسسة العامة السورية للتأمين، حيث يقارن حجم الأقساط التأمينية قبل وبعد دخول الشركات الخاصة إلى السوق التأمينية في سورية ودور هذه الشركات في زيادة الطلب على المنتجات التأمينية المختلفة ،بالإضافة إلى التعرف على أهم أنواع التأمين التي تنتجها هذه الشركات

تم التوصل من خلال البحث إلى نتائج عدة أهمها دور شركات التأمين الخاصة في زيادة حجم الطلب التأميني، وضعف حصة الفرد من التأمين من خلال مؤشر كثافة التأمين ، كما تبين ضعف قطاع التأمين السوري من خلال مؤشر تغلغل التأمين، وتوجه أغلب الطلب التأميني نحو تأمين السيارات .

This research studies the reality of the insurance sector in the Syrian Arab Republic during the period between 1990-2012, identifying most important private companies that have entered the domestic insurance market. It also tries to examine distribution of demand between them and the Syrian General Organization Insurance by comparing the volume of insurance premiums before and after the entry of private companies to market insurance in Syria. These companies play an important role, increasing the demand for insurance products

One of the main conclusions of this research relates to the role of private insurance companies in increasing the size of the insurance demand. However, index of insurance penetration shows weakness of the Syrian insurance sector with demand focused on auto insurance.
